October 12-16, 2026

• Online written test, 2 sessions per day will be available for the applicant so they can schedule a date and time. 

• In-person written testing if requested.

• This is a practice opportunity. Candidates who complete the course in  6:59 or less will qualify and will not be required to attend the official test date.

Practice Run 

October 18, 2026

2101 Hawk Drive, Los Alamos, NM 87544 (Los Alamos Middle School)​

• This is a practice opportunity. Candidates who complete the 1.5 mile course in 13:21 or less will qualify and will not be required to attend the official test date.

Official Testing Week, Interview, and Pre-Academy

October 30, 2026 - November 2, 2026

• October 30th - CTT (under 6 minutes and 59 seconds) Location: same as above 

• October 31th - 1.5 Mile Run (13 minutes and 21 seconds or less) / Interview) Location: same as above 

• November 1st - Interview

• November 2nd - Pre- Academy Location: 132 DP Rd.
